If you are spot prone anyway, I would like to recommend Sudocrem. Forget the “put a tiny bit just on the spot”, you can spread it all over your face if you want, it won’t harm you, but it does reduce and clear spots very well if you leave it overnight. Unfortunately after a while, it doesn’t seem to work as well as the first few times you use it, but it still does help. It’s fairly cheap and can be bought pretty much anywhere that sells cosmetics etc.
What comes before the pimples even head to the surface of your skin? Though most people tend to get acne in their teens, women are more likely to suffer throughout their lives. “Acne is predominantly hormone-driven. Because of hormone fluctuations throughout your cycle, you may break out around your period or during ovulation,” Dr. Lee explains. There are also genetic components that drive how likely you are to get acne, like how oily your skin is naturally.

Skin care clinics and dermatologists across the country offer laser skin treatments for acne scar removal, but is it worth it? Here’s how a few laser treatments work for acne scar removal:
Try tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an antibacterial essential oil that can blast the microbes that have started to make a home inside of your pores. With a dropper, dab a Q-Tip with a bit of tea tree oil and apply to pimples as needed, being careful not to put on too much.
Create a blend of cucumbers and oatmeal. The cucumbers help to reduce redness and fight off dark spots while the oatmeal soften and soothes irritated skin. Blend the two together in a food processor until it forms a paste, and then apply it to your skin for 15-20 minutes before washing off with warm water.
“It’s never a good idea to squeeze a pimple,” says Elizabeth Tanzi, M.D., founder and director of Capital Laser and Skin Care and assistant clinical professor at George Washington University Medical Center. What is okay? Drawing out a big pimple once the whitehead is poking through your skin. Dr. Tanzi recommends using a washcloth with hot—“but not scalding”—water, to excavate the puss before applying your spot treatment.
1) Chalk (any color really, but be prepared to look like a Simpson’s character). Rub it onto the red area and leave as long as you can (I usually leave it for an hour or two once a day). WARNING: do not crush the chalk into a powder. It creates a very fine powder and is really bad to inhale.
You can better not use toothpaste! Toothpaste dehydrates your skin. Pimples are clogged glandula sebacea. It means your skin isn’t able to “Breathe” through that “pore” It gets clugged. Eating healthy and drinking water is a starter! Scrubbing your face or having a chemical peeling also helps!
Pimples or acne are skin lesions/inflammations that occur when the sebaceous glands (oil glands) of the skin get infected with bacteria and swell up. Pimples are also as pustules or papules, spots, and zits. The sebaceous glands that are present throughout the skin, except in the palms and soles, secrete a waxy or oily substance called sebum. The sebum helps to maintain the oil balance of the skin and makes it look healthy. When there is any abnormality in the sebaceous gland, pimples develop (1).
My skin was like that too when I was 14. You could always exfoliate.. I usually use lemon, water and sugar to make a mask and then I leave it on my skin for about 15 minutes. That really helped with the big pimples. 🙂
“Air pollution just puts this layer of crap on your face,” Dr. Schultz says. Especially if you live in a city. Go walk around outside for a half hour, he suggests. When you come home, wipe your face with a toner pad or face wipe, and see what color it is. Warning: You’re not going to like what you see.
Another potential skin saboteur is sugar, because it raises your insulin level. More and more evidence shows that insulin may boost those oil-triggering male hormones, Dr. Schultz explains. Stick to low-glycemic foods—ones that have complex carbs like whole grains, which break down slower in the body and cause less of an insulin spike. Your health will be better for it, too.
Ice can be used to quickly reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores and removing dirt and oil accumulated on the skin. You can use ice cubes or crushed ice, whichever is convenient.
You know now the differences between the 5 types of acne scars. so, you can imagine that if you use direct lighting, you won’t see much. But if you start changing angles, dimming lights, this helps to reveal the depth, the angles and so the kind of scars on your face.
Is chocolate your enemy? Are late-night McDonald’s binges getting the better of your skin? These so-called trigger foods don’t affect everyone, but Dr. Schultz warns that you should keep tabs on whether certain foods tend to correspond with sudden onset breakouts. (For example, there’s been a recent connection between skim milk and acne.) The hard part, of course, is avoiding whatever it is that’s making your skin spazz.
lemon juice will not help you because it is an acid with a pH of 2 it has a chemical which binds with dna and allows uv rays to penetrate and damage your skin .Tooth paste woul be better as it is basic in nature. lemon spoilt my skin too.
Ideally, do this in the shower where warm water will naturally help open pores. Popping pimples in the shower also ensures you’re in a clean environment. Otherwise, use clean hands and put a warm compress on the pimple to help draw it out. After you squeeze all the contents out, wash your hands again to avoid spreading the bacteria to another site on your skin—or even someone else. (Yikes!)
I don’t know if these will work because I don’t even know what this thing on my cheek is. It’s like a pimple with a perfect circle base and my mom is a nurse and she doesn’t know either. Anyone have any information??
