Aside from genetics, there are several lifestyle habits that can make dark marks and scars worse. “Sun exposure can supercharge melanocytes, or pigment-producing cells, causing marks and scars to darken.” And, to reiterate one last time, picking or squeezing pimples creates further inflammation and can ultimately lead to more damage, Dr. Woolery-Lloyd and Dr. Bowe both warn.

hi i am 16 and dont get zits often, but i wash my face with green tea soap work great for keeping the zits away even for really oily skin. and the lemon juice work the best for getting rid of pimples fast. i put it on t noon and took it of at 5 pm and my pimple was almost gone and then i play volleyball and its stayed small they entire time and was gone the next day. THE LEMON JUICE WILL STING BUT SO WORTH IT
