Wash up. In order to clear up acne, you need to start by giving your face a nice wash. Acne consists of bacteria that have invaded your pores, and the first step is to fight back with a gentle, but effective acne wash.
“Leafy green vegetables and other brightly colored fruit and vegetables which are rich in antioxidants and nutrients dampen inflammation and improve skin quality (studies have shown acne patients have higher oil production and lower antioxidant levels),” says Dr. Weiser. “Limit intake of dairy products which can contain hormones and antibiotics that can worsen acne breakouts.”

When done too often, it can make redness, inflammation, and irritation worse. “Exfoliating a pimple can pull away healthy skin cells and create an open wound and higher risk for scarring,” says Jessica Weiser, MD, from New York Dermatology Group. “Exfoliation should be done with caution, and not more than 2-3 times a week maximum.”

Our family has this issue. My Mom had them, I have them, some of my children and grandchildren have them. In our family there is one major culprit…chocolate. I don’t care what people say…chocolate doesn’t cause it…oh YES IT DOES, in our family. Maybe not in others, but for sure in ours. I won’t even buy chocolate anymore, I love it, it doesn’t love me, nor many others in our family. I was in my 30s before I figured it out! I’m 70…have worn old lady white cotton undies for many decades. I don’t wear synthetic clothing, My grandchildren (2 years, 7 years, etc)…yep, butt pimples about a week after having a nice dose of chocolate. The pimples go away and stay away for months at a time until indulgence comes along…then a couple pimples pop up again. Other sweets do not cause them for us, no does fast food, pizza or dairy. If this note helps one out of a thousand, that would be great. Try it…get chocolate out of your diet for a month or two and see if there is a change. If not, you can always go back to it, just an experiment to try.

Ok, anyone suffering from acne on buttocks… I HAVE THE ANDWER FOR YOU… I am young, 24 years of age, I used to get pimples on buttocks. So embarrassing to me that it actually stoped me from having sexual intercourse…. I have been using HEAD & SHOULDERS shampoo to “wash” my buttocks… PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
