Bacne, or acne that appears on your back, can be painful and embarrassing, and sometimes it feels like it’s harder to treat than acne on your face. Don’t worry though — bacne doesn’t have to be a problem you struggle with for the rest of your life. Try a light treatment. Unlike painful laser treatments, light treatments use milder pulses of light fired off by a specialized wand to help kill bacteria. Certain colors of light (including red, green, and blue) have shown to have a positive effect on killing acne. Ask your dermatologist if getting a light treatment is a good choice for you.
I know for sure that they all work as in getting rid of the pimple, but the lemon works double time by drying it out to make it smaller then naturally “bleaching” and brightening your face so you don’t get any dark marks. My only real recommendation is to also do gentle face scrubs everyday with lukewarm water and moisturize regularly. Hope I helped!!

Acne that’s more inflammatory is denoted as moderate acne. This happens when there are occasional nodules and possibly mild scarring. It’s also considered severe if the acne is still present after six months of treatment or if it causes serious psychological issues.
Wash your face twice daily with a pH balanced cleanser. The first step to getting clear skin is to set up a regimented cleansing routine to restore the skin’s acid mantle and thus discourage acne vulgaris growth. Buckle down and force yourself to wash your face with a pH balanced cleanser of 5.5 when you wake up in the morning and before going to bed at night. As tired or busy as you may be, taking the extra few minutes to cleanse your skin will reduce your acne significantly.

Thank you for sharing your story and advice with us! I too struggled for many years with acne and it took me quite some time to feel comfortable looking at myself in the mirror for any extended amount of time. Totally agree with the self-love…especially since society always seems to be telling us to change or “improve” our bodies or appearances in ridiculous ways that just make people feel uncomfortable and insecure (nobody is going to have perfect skin, ever!) I am glad you found what worked for you 🙂
Another main cause of pimples is stress. Your body functions get upset during stress, and this triggers pimples. Stress cannot alone cause a pimple, but it aggravate the problem by releasing inflammatory chemicals called neuropeptides (1, 2).
No matter where you spot acne, it’s important to treat it properly. Using over-the-counter (OTC) or prescription acne medicine will help the pimples clear up more quickly. Avoid picking at your acne so you don’t get a scar.
